Prima Dental can trace our roots to two of the oldest names in the dental industry with 150 years of heritage in dental manufacturing – but during these unprecedented times it is not about looking back! It is about using this experience to think ahead – with a structured plan that’s seen us innovate with state of the art technology and processes establishing ourselves as world leaders. This enduring value guides us as we face the difficult challenge of responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19), which, as you know, the WHO has declared a pandemic.

Whilst our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unparalleled event we wanted to share with you the actions we are taking to ensure the well-being of our staff and how we plan to maintain an uninterrupted supply of product to our valued partners

 

Safety and wellbeing of staff

  • We are following all guidance from the UK Government.
  • We have restricted visitor access to our facilities.
  • International travel restriction has been implemented since 2nd March 2020.
  • Additional cleaning of facility has been implemented – all high contact touch points cleaned every 3 hours.
  • All members of staff have cleaning materials for themselves and their equipment.
  • Regular communication with employees on hygiene.
  • High-risk staff members with ability to work from home are now working remotely.

 

Supply Chain

  • We strategically hold safety stock both at Prima and with our key supply partners.
  • Our continuous close working relationships with all supply partners helps monitor any potential deviations across the supply chain and coupled with our agile stock management processes we aim to ensure an uninterrupted supply to our customers
